Got on the road west at about 10:00.  We should pass into Arizona in about an hour.  It&#8217;s a little past 11:00.   We&#8217;re now 130 miles from the Petrified Forest National Park which will be our next stop.  <\/p>\n<p>The scenery has been fantastic.  Flat topped mountains all around us.  Road is new and really smooth.  Traffic light to moderate.  Temperature about 65 degrees.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll have to post some &#8220;scenic&#8221; photos as soon as I get a chance to take them out of my camera.  Right now I don&#8217;t want to divert my attention from the beautiful scenery.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll write more later. <\/p>\n<p>LATER:<\/p>\n<p>The Petrified Forest was really interesting.  We stayed several hours and found it really mesmerizing.  I took a gazillion photos.
