Choice Home Warranty said they’d pay for my leaking hot water heater but then decided I hadn’t been insured when I took out the insurance. (The policy did say that I had to have it for a month before they’d cover anything so I wasn’t surprised.) I called Reedy and they replaced it for $1,650. If I’d kept KPW they’d have covered it but it would have cost over $700 for KPW. Choice only cost $495. I felt it was a good deal but as it turned out it cost me. I had no reason to realize it would spring a leak.
