Monday Gwyn Besner contacted me and ask if we could go to lunch/dinner on Tuesday as she was passing through my area on her way to Fort Myers (which is about 75 miles south of me). I invited her to stay over night which ended up being two nights. She got here about 2pm on Tuesday and just left (Thursday). We had a very quiet New Years Eve. It was too cool to do much outside. We went to Plaza Mexico which she enjoyed.

The house was clean (except for the guest room), but she got by.

I enjoyed her time here. Learned a lot about the new faces at Evart.

I have a standing invitation to visit and stay with her in Michigan. She appropriately approved of changes I’ve made in my place since her last visit. (We never figured out when she’d been here but I’m pretty sure it was before John died.)

She made friends with Sophie but it took a full day. Gwyn got up this morning and Sophie didn’t bark at all. Progress!!!!!
